USA Wrestling’s National Duals and Fargo (Junior and 16U Nationals) are two culminating events for Team Wisconsin. The best freestyle and Greco wrestlers in the state are tested against the rest of the nation, individually and as a team. Wrestlers hoping to participate in these events must qualify for the team through the following procedures. Last year the state produced a record 45 All-Americans. • Current year 1st-6th Place at USA Wrestling Regionals (placement must be in the same age and style)

  • Current year 1st-8th Place at U15 Nationals (placement must be in the same style)

  • Current year 1st-8th Place at UWW Cadet Nationals (placement must be in the same style)

  • Current year 1st-8th Place at UWW Junior Nationals (placement must be in the same style)

  • Current year 1st-3rd Place at WWF State Freestyle and Greco Tournament (placement must be in the same style and weight class). This is an auto-qualifier, but it does count against our total number.

GEAR
All athletes wrestling in Fargo, and on the WFS National Dual Team are required to purchase a new set of singlets this season.
We’ve been notified that the size chart runs small for the boys, and we recommend purchasing a size up. The second gear store opens tomorrow, April 22nd. Orders will arrive approximately eight weeks after the store closes on May 9th. Note: Wrestlers on the National Team that do not wish to purchase a new set of singlets may use a generic reversible singlet offered by the WWF coaching staff.
