Upcoming Informational Zoom Calls

Coaching Credentials at Kids Qualifiers & State
The WWF
Kids Folkstyle State Championships will be March 24th and 25th. Coaches must have a current USA Wrestling Leaders membership and a Copper Coaches Certification or higher to be matside—this includes parents, club coaches, etc. Coaches are required to purchase a coaches pass, and to have an updated profile photo in the USAW system to be matside.

Coaches are required to have a USAW Wrestling Leader Card to be matside at the Kids State Qualifiers on March 18th. Plan ahead as the Wrestling Leader card requires individuals to complete a mandatory background check and Safe Sport training.

Team USA Selection Process
USA Wrestling has released 2023 qualifying procedures for the men’s and women’s Pan American and World Teams. Read through the details for each age group and division
here.

2023 Bylaw Meeting Scheduled
The Wisconsin Wrestling Federation assigned a bylaw committee to review the current bylaws. The WWF Board of Directors approved the revisions presented by the committee. The next step is to have a zoom meeting with USA Wrestling chartered clubs in Wisconsin. The date of the meeting is Monday, February 27th at 7:30pm. Learn more online
here.

Let’s have another great month of wrestling!
