At the WWF we’re excited to begin another new season and it's your commitment to the sport that truly makes Wisconsin wrestling shine. We have a lot to share this month with the exciting news that Wisconsin has been awarded the bid to host the Junior National Duals in Milwaukee from 2025-28, membership renewals, fall meeting dates, our women’s freestyle camp series, and Wisconsin x Team USA highlights.

Women’s Freestyle Camp Series
Our WFS program camp series is back and it’s time for our 14U, 16U and Junior female athletes to get to camp and be part of the budding championship team in Wisconsin! This season we have a great lineup across the state and would like to thank our hosts at Team Nazar Training Center (9/22), Victory School of Wrestling (10/19), UW-Stevens Point (11/3), B.A.M Training Center (12/8), AWA Green Bay (1/26), AWA Advance (3/29), Aviators WC (4/19) and the Mauston Talon Training Center (5/4).
WWF to host USA Wrestling’s Junior National Duals
USA Wrestling's Junior National Duals are coming to Milwaukee! The WWF is excited to share that it has been awarded the bid to host USA Wrestling’s Junior National Duals for the next four years, from 2025 to 2028 to be held at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. Read the full press release here!
WI x Team USA Highlights
Look forward to watching Connor Mirasola at the U20 World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain, next week! The 92kg men’s freestyle qualification rounds begin Saturday, September 7th at 10AM local time (7 hours ahead of US Central Time). USAW’s freestyle preview is linked here.
Wisconsin athletes will compete at the 2024 Senior World Team Trials Sept. 13th-15th, including Macey Kilty who has accepted her berth into the best of three finals series after placing at the 2023 World championships. Also in WFS is Alisha Howk at 55kg. In Greco-Roman are Brady Koontz (55kg), Tyler Klein (55kg) and Aidan Nutter (63kg). Men’s freestyle will see Alex Dieringer, Keegan O'Toole, and Matty Bianchi all at 79kg, and Aeoden Sinclair at 92kg. Entries (listed as of Sept. 1st) from WI are sure to expand before registration closes. Wisconsin officials Casey Goessl and Maddie Ruckdashel will also be at the WTT. The Senior World Championships at the non-Olympic weights will determine the team to compete in Albania this October.
