The Wisconsin National Dual teams are finalized and Fargo registrations are coming in! Team Wisconsin will compete at National Duals in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin this month, and we’ll lock in our Fargo rosters. Here are your highlights for June:

Fargo
Fargo registration is open through June 25. ALL athletes (national auto-qualifiers, qualifiers through state, and those wishing to wrestle off at camp) must register through TeamSnap.

  • Register here
  • A list of auto-qualified and registered athletes is posted HERE. The document has three tabs showing: 1) athletes who are registered, 2) all athletes who have auto-qualified through a national event or the state tournament, and 3) wrestle-off spots available per weight and style. A minimum of ONE wrestle-off spot will be available per weight class and style at the pre-Fargo camps in River Falls. Please email Scott Kluever at wwfstatecoach@yahoo.com with questions.
  • Informational Zoom Calls June 25: The WWF will host informational Zoom calls on June 25 for WFS at 7pm, and MFS + GR athletes at 8pm. These calls will cover final Fargo details and FAQs.
  • Recruiting Profiles: Get started on your recruit profile! Many college coaches attend Fargo. As part of our state program, we offer an opportunity for our athletes to create a recruiting profile that will be made available to all college coaches who attend Fargo. All juniors and second-year 16U athletes are encouraged to submit a recruiting profile to wiwrestlingfed@gmail.com. Check out examples from 2024 here.
  • View the athlete pages for more national team info: 14U | 16U | Juniors | Womens.

Gear Store: EXTENDED - Order by June 15
We had a few final inquiries, so the gear store will be open now through June 15! FAQ:

  • Are these the singlets athletes purchase for Fargo? Yes. The WWF releases new singlets every other year, with the latest update in 2024. Athletes representing Team Wisconsin at the 16U and Junior National Championships in Fargo are responsible for purchasing the Team Wisconsin uniform package (at minimum, a red and blue singlet). Qualified wrestlers that do not wish to purchase a new set of singlets may use a generic reversible singlet offered by the WWF coaching staff. Athletes who purchased singlets in 2024 do NOT need to purchase them again this year.
  • Do athletes on the National Dual teams need to purchase singlets? No. Athletes on the National Dual teams are provided singlets from the WWF coaching staff for the duration of competition.

WI x USA Wrestling Highlights
Congratulations to the wrestlers who battled at U20 World Team Trials and U23 Nationals in Ohio over the weekend! Max Ramberg captured the 97 kg Greco-Roman title at U23 Nationals on Friday. A two-time U20 World Team Trials runner-up and 2022 Fargo champion, Ramberg will represent Team USA in Novi Sad, Serbia, this October at the U23 World Championships.

In men’s freestyle, twin brothers Connor and Cole Mirasola earned U20 World team spots, claiming titles at 92 kg and 125 kg, respectively. Connor, who placed fifth at last year’s World Championships, is one of five returning members on this year’s squad. The 2025 U20 World Championships will be held this August in Sofia, Bulgaria. Now at Penn State, the Mirasolas were part of the history-making title Team Wisconsin claimed at the Junior National Duals last summer.

On international turf, Juliana LaSavage brought home gold from the U15 Pan American Championships in Guatemala City! She secured a 56-second technical fall over her opponent from Ecuador. LaSavage was the first of 10 U.S. girls to win gold, helping Team USA go a perfect 10-for-10 and clinch the team title.

And here in WI, the WWF wrapped up the 2025 state series in Wisconsin Dells. A huge thank you goes out to our volunteers, officials, WWF board of directors, and team. Our state series would not be possible without the extraordinary efforts of everyone involved.

Here's to another great month of wrestling!
