Fargo Highlights
The week-long string of events at the 2025 U.S.M.C Junior Nationals saw an impressive 40 Wisconsin wrestlers earn All-American status, including National titles for Harlow Skenandore and Hunter Vander Heiden. Kellen Wolbert and Sullivan finished runners-up, and 16U Women’s Freestyle, 16U Greco and Junior Men’s Freestyle achieved top-10 placements. Congratulations, athletes and coaches, on this major accomplishment!

WI x Team USA Highlights

While the summer season wraps up for Wisconsin athletes in the age-group divisions, all of the team selection events that took place in the spring are kicking off United World Wrestling’s World Championship Series. Wisconsin will see home-state wrestlers representing Team USA at the U20, U23 and Senior World Championships at events from August - October.

In August, Connor (92 kg) and Cole (125 kg) Mirasola are slated to compete together at the U20 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria! The duo won gold medals in July at the U20 Pan Am Championships in Lima, Peru, helping Team USA Claim the men’s freestyle title overall. Connor also won the U23 Pan Am Championships this April.

Good luck to everyone competing on the World stage, and congratulations to our athletes and coaches who wrapped up such a successful summer season in July!
