Women’s Freestyle Camp — Oct. 11
The women’s freestyle camp series kicked off at Holmen High School last weekend! As we head into the next opportunity, we’re encouraging all female wrestlers in the 14U, 16U and Junior age groups to register for upcoming dates. These camps are more than just another training session—they’re a chance for national team coaches have eyes on your skills and for you to practice specific takeaways from last season’s national competitions.
Next up: October 11 at B.A.M. Training Center in Waterford, WI
The morning session covers hand fighting, shot recovery, and head-hands defense, along with live drills to reinforce technique. After lunch will be the breakout discussion on “What is my Best Competition Weight?” before returning to the mat for more technique, including baseline defense, par terre turns, and par terre defense. The camp will wrap up with live wrestling.
