National Events
The Kids Folkstyle National Championship for all 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U wrestlers will be in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 24–25! This event serves as the first stage of USA Wrestling’s prestigious Triple Crown Award. Online registration closes January 9, with a late registration deadline of January 23.
Women’s Camp for all 14U, 16U and Juniors
The WWF women’s camp series continues January 25 at Shiocton High School! Designed with the WIAA season in mind, camp will be lower in intensity while athletes focus on skills that carry over between folkstyle and freestyle. Whether you’re returning or attending for the first time, this is a great chance to connect with Wisconsin’s National Team coaches and athletes from around the state while continuing to grow on the mat. This month’s discussion topic will be nutrition and weight management.
Team USA Selection Process
USA Wrestling’s qualifying procedures for the men’s and women’s Pan American and World Teams have been updated for 2026. Links to detailed criteria for each age group and division are available here, and USA Wrestling’s Paths to the Podium page is a helpful resource to keep bookmarked throughout the season.
