Women's Wrestling Coaching Announcement
December 8, 2015

The Wisconsin Wrestling Federation is proud to announce Kevin Black of River Falls, WI as the coach of the Women’s Wrestling program. Coach Black is gold level certified by USA Wrestling. He was the 2009 and 2011 USA Wrestling Women’s Wrestling Coach of the Year. Kevin was selected to coach the World Team for USA Wrestling in 2007, 2009 and 2011. “I am excited to have Coach Black lead the WWF's Women’s program. He understands the process that is needed to develop a world-class athlete. He also understands the big picture that is needed to help promote and recruit in Women’s Wrestling,” said Scott Kluever the WWF’s State Coach Coordinator. Coach Black will be working with assistant coaches Alaina Berube and Joe Ramsey. All have impressive resumes as athletes and coaches. The group had developed a periodization program to help the wrestlers reach peak performance at important tournaments. The training schedule as well as tournament schedule is outlined below the coach’s bio.
