The 2026 WWF Beginners Freestyle and Greco State Championships will be on April 25 in Wisconsin Dells at the Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center Dome! Click here to read through details on the tournament flyer. 

Year three for the WWF Beginners Freestyle and Greco State Championships will see competition move to Wisconsin Dells! Wrestlers will be able to test out the Olympic styles of wrestling against competition with similar experience. The event takes place the weekend before the Wisconsin state tournament, allowing athletes who enjoy competing in Freestyle/Greco to join us in the Dells.

Eligibility: Wrestlers are eligible for this event only if they have not competed in any previous WWF Freestyle or Greco State Championships in Wisconsin Dells (in either style). Wrestlers who participated in this event last year at D.C. Everest may compete again, as long as they did not wrestle in the State Championships. Participation is limited to a maximum of two years.

Date & Location: Saturday, April 25 at the Woodside Dome in Wisconsin Dells, WI.  

Cost & Registration: Registration will be online only. The registration deadline is noon on Friday, April 24, and costs $25 for one style / $40 for both

Coaches Info: All coaches must have a current USA Wrestling Leaders membership and a minimum copper coaches certification. This includes parents, club coaches, etc. Individuals 18 years of age and older must successfully complete a mandatory background check before purchasing USA Wrestling Leaders Membership. Please allow 7-10 business days for the background check process, as USA Wrestling Leaders Memberships will not be available on-site.

All USA Wrestling Leaders will receive free admission to the WWF State Freestyle and Greco Tournaments.
