The 2024 Kids Folkstyle State Championships will be March 22nd - Match 24th and is open to Wisconsin residents who qualify through the Kids State Folkstyle Qualifiers on March 16th. 

Registration costs $50 if done online by midnight Tuesday, March 19th, or $75 at the door. All competitors must have a USA Wrestling Membership and show their card at weigh-ins. 

Please make sure a profile photo is uploaded in the USAW membership system for wrestlers by midnight Tuesday, March 19th so they have their picture on their competitor floor pass. 

If you qualify and decide not to attend please contact Jeff Jones so an alternate can be contacted.

Matside Coaching Requirements: Coaches Pass, USA Wrestling Leaders Membership, and a Copper Coaches Certification or higher.

Coaches Pass (REQUIRED): $20 if purchased online through the USAW Membership system between March 1st and midnight of Tuesday, March 19th. Coaches must have a profile photo uploaded and approved by USA Wrestling to their USAW profile for the printed pass. If a coach misses the Tuesday deadline, they may continue to purchase a coaches pass until Thursday midnight for $50. If purchasing onsite, coaches may be delayed getting mat-side until the coaches pass has been processed and approved by USA Wrestling. Passes are good for all sessions.

A current USA Wrestling Leaders membership and a Copper Coaches Certification or higher is required to be matside— this includes parents, club coaches, etc. Please allow 7-10 business days for the background check process, as USA Wrestling Leaders Memberships will not be available on-site.

Individuals 18 years of age and older must successfully complete a mandatory background check before purchasing USA Wrestling Leaders Membership

All USA Wrestling member coaches will receive free admission to the WWF State Folkstyle Championships.

One adult without a USA Wrestling Leaders Membership will be allowed to accompany a wrestler to the arena floor if no coach is available but must enter the arena floor with the wrestler. This adult will not be allowed to coach and must stay within the designated area along the arena wall. This is being done to ensure that youth wrestlers will be accompanied by someone.

Matches will be streamed on FloWrestling, and the finals matches in the oldest boys and girls divisions will have live commentary. 

The WWF is looking for volunteers to help hand out wrestler credentials at weigh-ins at the WWF Kids Folkstyle State Championships. We need 8 people at each of the weigh-ins dates and times listed below.

• Thursday March 21st 5-7pm
• Friday March 22nd 2-4:30pm
• Saturday March 23rd 2-4:30pm
