After four days of wrestling in Pennsylvania, the 14U division at USA Wrestling’s National Duals is complete.

Team Wisconsin finished in 4th place with an overall record of 5-2. All of their wins came consecutively. They edged out Iowa by a single point and went on to defeat Michigan Blue and then Maryland in the Pool D finals. They had wins in the Gold/Silver pool over Missouri and Georgia Red.

Wisconsin met Illinois once again in the 3rd place medal match. The team won 8 matches, but the dual went in favor of Illinois this time around. Their only other loss was to Ohio, who placed runners-up.

Wisconsin’s freestyle performance followed a 3rd-place finish in Greco-Roman, and the majority of the 14U team contributed to placements in both styles.

Their 3rd and 4th-place performances in Greco and freestyle are a major improvement to last year's 10th and 11th-place finishes.

USA Wrestling’s National Duals events resume Wednesday in Tulsa with Junior Greco, Junior Men’s and Women’s Freestyle, and 14U Women’s Freestyle.

Congratulations to our wrestlers and coaches, and good luck to the Juniors and 14U WFS team this week!
