Loves Park, Illinois: Wisconsin Red placed 5th overall at National Duals. They avenged a loss from the Pool D finals to take the medal-match win over Minnesota Blue (W46-27) and close out the two-day tournament on a high note. Wisconsin won 12 of the 17 matches against Minnesota in the medal match.

The red team started out in Pool D with wins over Georgia Red and Tennessee. They advanced to the Gold/Silver bracket after taking down Indiana for true 2nd.

Wisconsin Red defeated Ohio Gray Saturday before their final victory for 5th. Their two losses in the All-American bracket were back-to-back last night. Ohio Scarlet edged them out by a single point, and they lost to Illinois L49-26. They ended the two-day event with a 5-3 record overall.

Wisconsin Blue finished runners-up in the Red/Blue Pool to Florida. They edged out Nebraska earlier in the day W36-35, and accumulated a winning 5-4 record overall.

Oaks Park, Pennsylvania: Team Wisconsin is back in action in the 14U division with our freestyle lineup hitting the mats Saturday.

They advanced to the Gold/Silver All-American bracket as champions from Pool D. They edged out Iowa by a single point, W42-41, before taking down Michigan Blue in the Pool D semifinals, W53-23, and Maryland, W49-31 in the finals.

Their first match in the Gold/Silver pool will be against Missouri Red. Action continues this afternoon, and tomorrow, for the 14U freestyle team in Pennsylvania.
