2023 Fargo Blog Day 3: Monday wrap-up from men’s freestyle Junior and 16U Nationals

FARGO, North Dakota—Monday is the single largest day of wrestling here in Fargo. The new schedule has 16U and Juniors starting on the same daymore than 3,000 men’s freestyle athletes battling for stop signs through Wednesday night. It’s not just skills these wrestlers need to make the podium but grit and heart, which Wisconsin has plenty of.

Today’s sessions consisted of championship rounds up to the round of 32 and consolations. Here’s everyone in on the championship side of the brackets:

Tomorrow morning will be the round of 32 and consolations, starting at 9AM. The PM session will be the round of 16, quarterfinals, and consolations. We have a lot of wrestling ahead of us.
