National Events

U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials
We have a strong group of wrestlers that qualified for and are competing this weekend at U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials in Ohio. U23 Nationals is part of the team selection criteria for the U23 World Team, and the U20 competition will determine the World Team. Mitchell Mesenbrink (MFS 74kg) is sitting in the best of three finals series after winning the U20 division at the US Open. Select here to see everyone registered under Wisconsin.

Senior World and National Teams
Final X, and the true-third bouts beforehand, will determine the 2023 Senior World and National Teams. Alisha Howk (WFS 55kg), Macey Kilty (WFS 65kg), and Brady Koontz (GR 55kg) will wrestle for a spot on the Senior World Team. Ben Provisor (GR 82kg), Alyssa Lampe (WFS 50kg), Kylie Welker (WFS 76kg), Dylan Koontz (GR 69kg), Payton Jacobson (GR 77kg) Keegan O’Toole (MFS 74kg) and Alex Dieringer (MFS 79kg) will wrestle true-third bouts earlier in the day in an effort to secure a spot on the 2023 senior national team.

U17 Pan American Championships
Carley Ceshker (WFS 57kg) will represent Team USA at the U17 Pan Ams in Mexico City on June 23rd. Ceshker earned the spot with a 2nd place finish at U17 World Team Trials this April in Spokane.

Here's to another great month of wrestling!
