  • Spectators: Admission can be purchased online in advance! USAW Leaders Members will receive free admission; there is no cost for parking. Get tickets here.
  • Officials/Coaches: Friday night features the RCEP clinic (Referee Coach Education Program). Na Humma, an M1 USAW official from Texas will be hosting a State Level Referee/Coach Education Program Clinic from 6-9PM at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. Officials and coaches of all levels are encouraged to attend!
  • EVERYONE: Olympian Payton Jacobson will meet and greet with athletes/fans on Sunday, beginning at 11:30AM. This is a great opportunity to get face time and ask questions with a young Wisconsin native at the pinnacle of the sport!
  • Finals matches for the 16U and Junior divisions will have matside commentary. All matches will be streamed live on FloWrestling here.

Team WI Gear
The gear store is
OPEN through May 19th! Orders will be delivered approximately three weeks after the gear store closes. Select here to shop the new Wisconsin singlets and a wide variety of tops, bottoms, hats and bags.

  • Are these the singlets athletes purchase for Fargo? Yes. We have new singlets for 2024! Fargo athletes are responsible for purchasing their own singlets, and singlets from prior years may not be used. Wrestlers on the National Team who do not wish to purchase a new set of singlets may use a generic reversible singlet offered by the WWF coaching staff.
  • Do athletes on the National Dual teams need to purchase singlets? No. Athletes on the National Dual teams are provided singlets from the WWF coaching staff for the duration of competition.

April Highlights
Let’s begin in reverse! Wisconsin continues to shine on every level. Last weekend, we sold out our 500-registration limit for the beginners freestyle and Greco state championships. This is a testament to the athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, parents and volunteers pouring into the sport.

At the same time, some of Wisconsin’s very best were battling in Las Vegas at the US Open Events, where 37 earned All-American status! This included four champions and 7 runners-up. Winning titles in Greco-Roman were Colton Weiler and Brett Back, and in Freestyle Aeoden Sinclair and Connor Mirasola.

Weiler’s title earned him the 65kg U17 Greco World team spot with a win in the best of three trials final. The 2024 U17 World Championships are in Amman, Jordan, August 19-25.

In U20, Brett Back (GR), Aeoden Sinclair (FS) and Connor Mirasola (FS) advance to the best of three series at WTT where they will face the champion of the mini-tournament. The UWW U20 and U23 Men’s World Team Trials are coming up May 31st-June 2nd. Check out the complete All-American summary from the US Open here.

That brings us back to the ultimate domestic stage of our sport—the U.S Olympic Team Trials—where 13 Wisconsin natives took aim at one of just six spots in their respective styles. Ultimately, Payton Jacobson was triumphant in the quest for an Olympic Berth in Greco-Roman. Standing the victor after a hard-fought best-of-three finals series at the trials he will represent the United States in Paris this August. Mitchell Mesenbrink and Kylie Welker earned their place on the senior national team with top performances at the trials.

Earlier in April, 24 earned All-American status at women’s nationals/World Team Trials. The complete results and All-American summary are posted here.

We are proud of your efforts, Team Wisconsin!
